KARBOSNAB manufactures and sells polycarbonate and translucent systems for homes and industry. In place of the old Bitrix site we built an online store with a roof calculator and 3D model, a product page that sells, and a separate section for architects.
The old Bitrix site looked dated and sold poorly. To find out the price of a canopy or roof, clients called, and a manager priced every project by hand: dimensions, polycarbonate type, number of sheets.
Managers were buried in identical calculations, and architects and builders had nowhere to quickly find a solution for their project.
An online store for two audiences: someone building a canopy by their house, and a company designing an airport or a factory.
Canopy type, dimensions and material, and the client sees a turnkey price and a 3D model they can rotate. How it works
Price per m² and per sheet, a promotion timer, stock status, instalments, colour and thickness in one click. More
9 categories, filters by thickness, colour and manufacturer, comparison and wishlist. Buyers find their sheet fast.
An interactive map of building types: station, airport, hospital, stadium. Architects pick a building and see the solutions for it.
Separate terms for builders and wholesale buyers, a price list, completed projects, articles and installation guides.
Cart orders, calculator results and B2B enquiries land in the CRM with every parameter.
A canopy’s price depends on its shape, size and material. A manager used to work it out, and every calculation took their time. The client had to be able to price it themselves and see straight away what the canopy would look like.
What we decided against: a "request a quote" form
The easy option was a form, leaving the calculation to a manager. But then the client waits for a reply and the manager repeats the same work. The calculator gives the price at once, and the manager receives a ready calculation with all the parameters.
We put everything a buyer usually asks a manager about on the product page, right where they look for it.
Per m² and per sheet, with size and area. No maths needed.
The discount and time left nudge the buyer to decide.
A second button shows the monthly payment, so a large purchase feels manageable.
Colour, thickness and sheet size switch right on the page.
"Made in EU", stock status, warranty, delivery, load tables and reviews.
"Bought together" and "You may also like" add accessories to the order.
An architect is not looking for "a 10 mm sheet"; they are designing a station, a school or a factory. So we built them an interactive map: pick a building type and see which systems suit it.
The skylights catalogue on desktop and on a phone.
Compared with the old Bitrix site.
Managers no longer price standard canopies by hand: calculator results and orders arrive in the CRM with the parameters already filled in.
From the first call to launch in six months, with a team of 8.
Store and catalogue, product page, calculator and 3D model, architects’ section, CRM
Thank you to the WebCode.Agency team for a large and complex project. The new site and calculator took dozens of identical calculations a day off our managers, clients now price their canopy themselves and buy straight away, and sales have grown tenfold.
