Anabell is a certified art therapist in Amsterdam. Before us she had only Instagram. We built a website on her own paintings where a client chooses a session format and books in a few minutes.
The whole practice ran on Instagram. People asked about formats and prices in direct messages, and anyone searching Google for an art therapist in Amsterdam did not find Anabell.
People choose a therapist with their heart: a client has to feel safe before the first meeting. A template therapist website kills that feeling.
A website in English for clients in the Netherlands and online: warm, simple and uncluttered.
Anabell’s own artwork instead of stock photos. The site is recognisable from the first screen and feels like her, not a template.
The method explained in plain words, without medical terms. People understand what to expect from the first session.
Drawing, mandalas, metaphoric cards, fairy tales, sand play, photo therapy, clay sculpting, collage.
Stress, relationships, confidence, fears, habits. Clients recognise their situation and see they are in the right place.
Individual, couple, family and group sessions, the "Tree of Life" method, a picnic and a corporate programme. In-person and online prices are visible straight away.
A "Book a Session" button on every screen leads to a short form. The request reaches Anabell without messaging in Direct.
A therapist’s site cannot push like a landing page full of offers. It has to feel warm and calm and still lead to a booking. We looked for the balance between atmosphere and a clear path to a session.
What we decided against: pushy calls to action and timers
No "only 2 spots left" and no pop-ups. The language is calm, the colours come from her paintings, and the booking button is simply always close at hand. People book because they feel trust, not pressure.
The "Tree of Life" session page on desktop and the home page on a phone.
Compared with booking through Instagram only.
Requests come through the site form, and Instagram now leads to the site, where people choose a session themselves.
From the first call to launch in one month. The team: a designer and two developers.
Home, about me, catalogue and 8 session pages, contact, booking form
I was afraid a website would feel cold and corporate. WebCode.Agency made it feel like me: my paintings, my words, my calm. Clients tell me they felt safe before we even met, and I now get noticeably more bookings.
